Last Garden Walk of 2015—Four Closeups, Two Long Views

The first long view is of the Back Pond, which you’ll see more of tomorrow. The second long view is looking upriver from my favorite spot. Is it any wonder I linger here so often? The trees with white trunks are on a small island that briefly splits the river in two. Most summers, I get to walk in the river past the left bank of the island, but not this summer, which was taken up with household downsizing instead of photographing.
