Old Bank Drive-Through 21

December 13, 2018

When I went dumpster hunting last month (see the small haul), I stopped by the old bank drive-through that has entertained me so often. I’d never been there in freezing weather, and icy new appearances awaited me. The last three photographs are what I will enter into the FAVA Six-State Photography show early next year, hoping one will be juried in.

    • Thanks, Adrian. I guess it’s worthwhile to keep checking out that concrete slab.

    • Thank you, Ken. Notice anything funny about the green leaf on the left side of the fifth photo? It’s the same leaf that is in the third photo. I copied and pasted it because the composition needed something else on the left side. I don’t think I’ve ever done something so blatantly Photoshoppy for this blog. Hope I’ll be forgiven.

      • Nothing to forgive, Linda. I admire your PS skills but, even more so, your ability to finesse a composition so beautifully.

        • Thanks, it came out better than I thought it would. I guess it helped that I shot everything looking straight down at the pavement. Didn’t take fancy PSing or finessing.

    • Thanks, Marjorie—or Larry. Can’t wait to see what’s cookin’ in that spot in March.

Nice collection, Linda. You certainly got your money’s worth 🙂

Despite the fact that we’ll no longer be able to trust your images as true representations of reality, I’m very impressed with your PS skills.
Now that I think about it though, who cares about truth in this day and age anyway?

    • Thanks, Alan. I don’t think I’ve gotten my whole money’s worth yet; I’ll be back. I will alert you when I do any more fancy PSing. You—master of the mashup—have no reason to be impressed with my copy and paste PS skills. If I didn’t care about truth, I wouldn’t have made my confession, and if you didn’t, you wouldn’t have mentioned it. 🙂
