The word “nestled” comes to mind . . .

    • “Nested” works, too. I think it’s funny to think of a small patch of snow as enjoying cozy protection (won’t that make it melt?), but that’s how this one made me feel.

  3. And thank your eyesbrain for noticing. Beautifully composed! It IS odd, the way the snow seems protected, nestled, and almost like an egg in a nest.
