    • Thanks, Alan. It’s been done by others, but it just seemed fresh to me.

It’s fresh to me as well. I particularly like the way the sharp grasses in the foreground are echoed by the muted ones, and trees as well, in the background.

        • Pleased to hear that, Alan. It was the background elements that I thought made it seem a bit different, too.

  4. At the turn of the year, there is something so perfect about receiving all these images of c-a-l-m. Really, really nice. I know it’s been cold down there, but it’s working for us. You must be happy with it, too, since you’re producing these handsome images.

    • Actually, the cold just hit us yesterday. It was still warm the day I took the fog pictures. (They’re all from a week ago Sunday.) I hope I remember to haul these out when I need calming.

    • Now that the holidays are over (aren’t they?), maybe you can keep exhaling. Glad this helped.

  6. Really beautiful, Linda >>> getting on towards being a perfect image, if there is such a thing. The grass and its reflection add universes to it. A

    • Thank you, Adrian. I don’t think there is a perfect image, but all the same I’m happy to hear you think this photo approaches it.
