Last Garden Walk of 2015—The Back Pond 1
November 29, 2015
As you may have noticed in the photos of the last two days, October 11 was a sunny day. Sunshine always intensifies the reflections in the black-water Back Pond at Schoepfle Garden. It also allows for faster shutter speeds, resulting in more interesting photos of ripples in the pond. The second through fifth images below are close crops of the first image.

I like the idea of finding images within an image and all of these are really very nice. Resolution has held up well.

They’re mesmerizing, and so much fun to photograph, aren’t they? Great idea, following a photo with cropped portions of it (especially when it works so well).
