Honoring the Physical World

especially the iron bacterium Leptothrix discophora

After a formal career as editor, writer, and photojournalist, I left the staff of Oberlin College in 2001 to spend my days making visual art. Now I split my time between maintaining a fiber-art studio at Ginko Gallery and Studio in Oberlin, Ohio, and inviting the world to my camera.
